01Which kind of hosting do I need?
If I'm building you a new modern site, it goes on Vercel. If your WordPress site works well and you're keeping it, managed WordPress hosting. If you're running AI agents, chatbots or automations, a cloud VPS. Many clients have a website plus a VPS for their agents.
02What is Vercel?
Vercel is the hosting company behind Next.js. Your site is served from a global network, so it loads fast everywhere, and there's no server or plugins for anyone to hack or for you to update.
03Will my email stop working if I move hosts?
No. Email is usually separate from website hosting. I check how yours is set up before the move and leave it alone, so it keeps working throughout.
04Is there any downtime when switching?
Normally none. The new site is fully set up and tested before your domain is pointed to it, and the switch is made at a quiet time.
05What is a VPS, and why would I need one?
A VPS is your own private cloud server. It's what AI agents and automations need to run around the clock, like a chatbot answering guests or a system posting to social media for you.
06What does hosting cost?
Hosting is included in every monthly plan, starting with Foundation at $575 a month. If you only need hosting, ask and I'll quote it.
